1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Sunset Browser ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Good Fate Lab LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer of Sunset Browser.
2. Description of Service
Sunset Browser is an iOS web browser application that includes:
- Web browsing with tab management, bookmarks, and history
- Built-in Virtual Private Network (VPN) service
- Smart ad blocking capabilities
- Private browsing mode
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
4. User Accounts & Subscriptions
4.1 Free Tier
The App offers a free tier with limited VPN access (available through watching advertisements). Free users may access VPN for 30-minute sessions, up to 3 times per day.
4.2 Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscription plans (Basic, Pro, Premium) are available through Apple In-App Purchase. Subscriptions are auto-renewable and billed through your Apple ID account.
- Basic: $4.99/month or $41.99/year
- Pro: $9.99/month or $83.99/year
- Premium: $14.99/month or $119.99/year
4.3 Billing & Renewal
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
4.4 Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Engage in any unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent activity
- Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to circumvent any security features of the App
- Use the VPN service for illegal activities in your jurisdiction
- Distribute copyrighted content without authorization
- Engage in activities that may harm the network or other users
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
6. VPN Service
The VPN service is designed to enhance your online privacy. However:
- We do not guarantee complete anonymity or security
- VPN speed and availability may vary depending on server load and network conditions
- Data limits apply based on your subscription tier
- We reserve the right to modify server locations and configurations
- The VPN may not work in all countries or networks due to local regulations
7. Intellectual Property
Sunset Browser, including its code, design, logos, and content, is the intellectual property of Good Fate Lab LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GOOD FATE LAB LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTION.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
